Founded in 2014 in Navi Mumbai, BITFF began as a locally hosted international film festival and has since evolved into a touring-focused global platform.
BITFF has hosted multiple physical editions and received submissions from filmmakers across more than 75 countries.
After a pause during the COVID period, the festival is relaunching with its 5th edition (2026 relaunch), a renewed touring vision.
